With just one owner, a lifetime spent here in Wisconsin, and an impressive 20 documented service records, this Crosstrek has been cared for with unusual consistency. And yes there was minor damage reported back in 2019, but nothing structural, no airbag deployments, and no long-term impact. It’s the kind of honest, transparent history buyers appreciate, and it’s only the beginning of what makes this Subaru such a smart choice.

    Purchased new in late 2017, this Crosstrek stayed with the same owner for nearly eight years, averaging a modest 10,061 miles per year far below many daily drivers. Its service history reads like a maintenance checklist done exactly right: scheduled inspections, computer updates, brake work, fresh spark plugs, coolant and brake fluid flushes, tire rotations, and several sets of new tires along the way. Nearly every year, it passed emissions without issue and returned for regular oil changes.

    Most recently, in 2025, the Crosstrek received fresh care including tire rotations, a full oil and filter change, and detailed inspections.     • 2nd Subaru and More Impressive than the First

      My wife loves her Subrau Baja and swore she would never part with it. Two grand kids later we needed something with more room. She test drove the Outback and decided it was just too big for her and she couldnt get excited about it. The Foresters driver seat just didnt fit her comfortably. The 2018 Crosstrek has proven just right. She loves the comfort, handling, quiet cabin, adaptive headlights, Eyesight safety systems and the bright Sunshine Orange exterior and gray interior with orange contrast stitching. When I told her she needed to drive the Baja so I could wash her Crosstrek she gave me a dirty look. I guess you could say she is very happy with her Crosstrek (Crusher). Im very impressed with the performance and mileage (even during break in). The Crosstrek is averaging 33 MPG on the second tank of gas. Motortrend just did a comparison of the Crosstrek against a Nissan and Jeep and confirmed the Crosstrek is no slouch. It had the fastest acceleration to 60 MPH. I know the Crosstrek is faster than our Subaru Baja with its 2.5L engine. The Crosstrek gives us about 5 inches more legroom in the backseat over the Baja without sacrificing legroom in the front. The only con is limited storage behind the backseat. With 2 car seats in place you are limited to 20.8 Cubic feet of storage. Next week we are putting snow tires on Crusher for the winter. The Baja was exceptionally secure with snow tires during winter driving. My wife is hoping the Crosstrek does just as well. No car is perfect yet the Crosstrek does so many things well it will be hard to find anything in its price range that delivers a better total package.…

      A turbo engine is not available as stated by the KBB reviewer. A stronger naturally aspirated 182 hp one is available on the two upper lever models which make a huge difference in how the car handles. I thought would be purchasers would want to know this!…

      I have owned my Crosstrek Limited for only a few weeks. So far I am very happy with this vehicle. It looks great inside and out. The seats are very comfortable. I love all of the new safety features. Subaru has done a really impressive job with the eysight system. Its too soon comment on gas mileage. The car is fun to drive. It is very quiet and is fairly peppy despite the small engine. There are just a few minor a few things that I am disappointed in. The doors do not automatically lock. This is unusual for a top of the line trim model. Also the navigation is not up to par with the Garmin that I had previously. Because of the eysight cameras, it is awkward to adjust the rear view mirror as the top of the mirror is almost touching the bottom of the camera housing. You can only adjust it from the bottom and this is where the homelink controls are. This is not that big of a deal, only slightly annoying. Its just a result a putting a lot of equipment into a small car. Overall I am very happy with the Crosstrek and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a small AWD crossover.…
